NOTES

On 1920 Census: Jane Taylor is living with Lillian and James W. Eyre (among a LOT of lodgers!) and is listed as Aunt from Ireland. However, it looks like the spelling of her name is "Jean".

On 1910 Census: Lillian is living with her "parents", with James and first son, William T.
Has place of origin for Lillian's mom (Jane) as "Ire. English" (Ireland).

On 1900 Census: Lillian is listed as Niece to William and Jane Taylor, and her last name is Thompson and born in England. Supposedly, William and Jane Taylor had 4 kids, 1 living = Lillian ... so did they "adopt" her?

Lillian's Uncle: William H. Taylor
See research notes for possible connection between Thompson and Taylor.

November 27, 2007: Ordered a certified copy of the marriage certificate of James and Lillian. I'm hoping I have the right one! It takes 4-6 weeks to process and deliver the copy. December 15: Received certificate. Verified Lillian's parents' names: William B. Thompson and Margaret Poland.

December 5, 2007: Received copy of Lillian's obit from a RAOGK volunteer. Verified her age/birth year and that she is from Liverpool, England.
