Fibromyalgia Herbal Remedies and Diet

As some of you may know, from viewing my website or seeing my signature link at the Warrior Forum, I suffer from Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. From what I have read of personal accounts in forums and the like, I do not suffer half as much as others do.  While I’m grateful for that, I also feel bad that others ARE suffering so much.

The reason for this post is find out how many of you would like to see an e-book on “Herbal Remedies for Fibromyalgia” and/or “Optimal Diet for Fibromyalgia” ?

Personal and medical research is finding out more and more that going the natural route in relieving symptoms, or even curing, diseases is the better way to go overall.  Natural remedies typically poses less risk to the body, is less stressful to the body (thus giving it more energy to fight the disease), and has less residual symptoms afterwards.

So, leave a comment or take the Poll (left column) as to whether or not such information would be beneficial to you or a loved one!

Dice and Divination

With so much uncertainty lately with finances, politics, relationships, and more, there has been an increase in people seeking out ways to try and find out what their future holds.

Many people do not take stock in any form of divination. Mainly, they believe that one can not control or see their future in any way, shape, or form. They do not believe in coincidences or fate. And there is nothing wrong with believing in that way. These folks have every right to.

And there are other people, like me, who sense that there just may be more to just mere coincidences and fate. Too many folks have benefitted from The Law of Attraction and The Secret (and other similar schools of thought) to not wonder what may be helping us along.  And there is also that fact that various forms of divination have been around for thousands of years. If divination didn’t work, why would people persist on engaging in these practices year after year, century after century?

I have built and administrate a psychic readings site, which initially started as a joint venture (JV) with my online store. I’ve always been into in the paranormal and thought this would be a fun project.  As the staff of psychics grew, I was frequently a test subject since I was behind the scenes and no one really knew much about me.  Despite being a healthy skeptic, I was pretty amazed at how accurate these psychics were at picking up on subject matter that NO ONE knew about in relation to my life.  They would mention unique things in detail, things that have not been told to even the owner, nor could be found out by doing an online search of me (such as what my mom was hospitalized for and when, or at what age a certain event happened in my life).  Anyways, I’m not trying to convince you of this group’s abilities, but to show that there has got to be something behind divination and psychics if such occurances are so accurate.

I decided to branch out a tad via affiliate (and article) marketing with products pertaining to the paranormal and psychic areas. By doing this, it forces me to find the time to do more research into various areas that I may not have done otherwise.  And since I love researching, this was not a problem for me! I just needed a goal to be me started.

And one of the products I have found is Diceology, is similar to Cleromancy in that it is divination via dice.  This is something you can do alone or with others. Steven Wagenheim, the creator and author of the Diceology series of books, explains in easy-to-read, detailed, and yet humorous text, how to conduct and interpret your Diceology readings. And there are various levels of interpretations you can engage in … from the easy general interpretations all the way to the pinpoint heady mathematical ones.

As part of my marketing of this fine product, I have started a blog dedicated solely to Diceology and Divination. As I do my research, I post about the definition of divination, the history of dice, describe the forms of divination, and so much more.  The more you know about all these aspects, the more you can understand and appreicate your Diceology readings.

Why not give it a try - you never know what your future may hold!

A Cute Science Joke

Two atoms walk out of a bar.

One says to the other, “I think I left my electrons back inside the bar.”

“Are you sure?” asks the other atom.

“Yes, I’m positive,” he replies.

Where have I been?

That expression - Time Flies When You’re Having Fun - is so very true.

While I physically haven’t gone anywhere, I have been torn away from blogging for these last few months due to work and health.  I won’t go into the boring details - I’ll save you from the torment *grins*

However, some good has come of my time away from my blog. I have had time to think about things while sitting here at the computer working on client websites, visiting the ever-important Warrior Forum, and enjoying rare free time by watching recent TV shows I had missed.

Mainly, I have thought about the many ‘irons’ I have in the perverbial fire.  Let’s list them:

  • My main e-commerce store: Moonlight Delights
  • A new e-commerce store I’m slowly building: God’s Grace Gifts
  • Working my “day job” of building and maintaining client websites
  • Blogging [I've been a little lax on that one, eh?]
  • Wanting to dive into Affiliate Marketing
  • Wanting to use Article Marketing as the foundation to Affiliate Marketing
  • Using a lot of my spare time to read and learn from others about website design, marketing, search engine optimization, and more.

Needless to say, I’m stretched thin.  Experienced online business folks would rightly say that I should focus on just one thing (aside from the day job) until it is reasonably successful and automated. I do agree with this.  But, being a true Gemini, I need constant differing stimulation.  Hence the 2 online stores and the affiliate/article marketing.  I would like multiple streams of income.  Oh - I should say that the affiliate/article marketing would be connected to my two stores … so I would be working in the same niches. But since affiliate/article marketing is an animal in and of itself, I considered them as individual projects.

It’s hard to make a schedule.  I’ve tried that.  But there is always something from my day job that intrudes on a lot of my spare time. My boss (lives in another state) depends on me for a lot of the work since I am more advanced than he in many areas AND I will be acquiring the whole business in the coming months.

So, if you have multiple projects, that loosely (or tightly) tied into each other, but that are taking up a LOT of your time … how to you cope and handle them?  I would like to hear your thoughts, suggestions, and ideas on this.

Twitter - Do You Tweet?

I am not exactly sure how long Twitter has been around, but I just recently joined about a week or so ago. Now I am finding that a number of folks that I recognize from forums, such as the Warrior Forum, are active members of Twitter.

So, what is Twitter? To me, it is a combination of micro-blogging and instant messaging. You can broadcast your “tweets” (messages) to the whole Twitter membership or to just those you “follow” and/or follow you. You are only limited to 140 characters per message. This limitation has its pros and cons. The pros include the fact that you can practice creating eye-catching headlines and sales pitches and also that you don’t have to type out long posts to get your point across. The cons include trying to condense a few sentences into just 140 characters LOL. You can insert links into your tweets, so it’s best to use TinyUrl, or a similar service, to save on characters.

Added to the list of those I follow is a triviabot, who sends out random trivia every hour or so. And also earthquake announcements. You can also follow political candidates. Oh, I do know of one famous person on Twitter. I’ll let you find him. Hint: He’s been on a well-known TV show from the 80’s, a hit movie, and has been blogging since roughly 2001.

Twitter can come in very handy for those who have an online business. You can have your blog posts be announced in your twitter messages automatically or you can manually send out tidbits and a URL to send people to your websites/online stores. Twitter is unusual, but don’t let that scare you from testing out this unique avenue for advertisement. Be resourceful and responsible (ie, don’t spam) and Twitter can be another advantageous tool in your advertising belt.

The First Post

The First Post is the foundation of your brand new blog.

But, what do you write for your first post? You know, you have to make a good first impression to the thousands upon billions of folks who will be passing through. So, your first post needs to be unique, eye-catching, enthralling.

But what subject matter?  Do you just jump right on it and promote that latest and greatest internet marketing produt that you just can’t live without?  Do you gossip about the latest celebrity faux pas? Or do you numb your audience with a dissertation of what you cat did the other day to the poor little moth?

What did you write about in your first blog post? When you looked back at your blog’s beginnings, did you cringe at what you wrote, kind of like seeing your old high school yearbook picture? Did you edit that post or just leave it as it was?

Well, hopefully my future posts will be of more interest to many of you. I will present a variety of styles. The reason - this blog will be the hub for my websites: my online store, my fibromyalgia and fatigue website, my genealogy research, and what I learn from internet marketing icons. There will also be odds n ends (hence the name of the blog) of information and websites that can’t really be categorized that I think you will find of interest.  So, in essense, this blog has no one major theme. This blog is very much like me - a true Gemini - always jumping around from topic to topic because everything is of interest. I’m like a sponge, I absorb a lot of information (now - retaining and remember … that’s a whole nother story!”).

Just be forewarned, I am new to Wordpress and I have loads of plugins and what-nots to install - things to rearrange, and posts to enter. It may take a month or so to truly get this place all comfy and cozy. So, mind where you step and make yourself at home.
